for fig 1

x= 2( 60°)

= 120° ( by the the theorem)

for fig 2

AB||CD

therefore

2x-5= 60

2x = 65

x = 65/ 2

x= 32.5

angle x = 2 × angle ACB.

{Angle opposite to another angle subtended at the centre}

=》 x = 2 × 60°

=》 x = 120°

= 2x-5 = 60°

{Alternate interior angles}

=》 2x = 60°+5°.
