const:  join bd

to prove:  1.angle A= angle B

                2.AB//CD

proof:   1.

            in triangle ABD and triangle BCD

            ab=cd[given]

           ad=bc[given]

            bd=bd[common]

            therefore triangle ABD IS CONGRUENT TO TRIANGLE BCD

            now,

            angle A =angle B [by cpct]

             2.

              angle DBC= angle ADB [by cpct]

              also they form alternate interior angles therefore AB//CD

              HENCE PROVED
