Gravity is measured by the acceleration that it gives to freely falling objects.

(a) When it is placed on widest base i.e. 25cm so area => 25×10 = 250cm²

Pressure = 2.5/0.25 = 10N m^-2

(b) Pressure = Force/Area

When it is placed upright it's length and breadth will be 10 and 5 respectively

so area => 10×5 = 50cm² = 0.005m²

Pressure => 2.5N/0.005m² = 500N m^-2
