3x-y+1=0

-y+1=0
-y=0-1
-y=-1

3x-1+1=0
3x-0=0
3x=0-0
3x=0
x=3/0
x=0

so,x=0
y=(-1)

its is prove
most easiest way

Satwik92876: it's wrong..
Satwik92876: where is 3x gone in second step....????

x² + y² + 5x = 0

(i) x = 0
    = (0)² + y² + 5(0)
    = 0 + y² + 0
y² = 0
y  = +-√0
y  = 0
      (0,0) Ans.

Rest, (ii) and (iii), you can either do substitution method or elimination method.
