OPTION B: 47

Let 3/2=k

=>2k = 3

x^k + x^-k =3

squaring both sides

x^2k + x^-2k + 2(x^k)(x^-k) = 9

x^2k + x^-2k + 2 = 9

x^2k + x^-2k  = 9-2 = 7

substituting the value of 2k

x^3 + x^-3 = 7

squaring both sides

x^6 + x^-6 +2(x^3)(x^-3) = 49

x^6 + x^-6 + 2 = 49

x^6 + x^-6 = 49 - 2

x^6 + x^-6 = 47
