Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

16+9 = 125x

25/125 =x

x = 1/5

now   16 +12xy =56x

so by solving above equation we get

y=-2

hope it will help u dear

Given,

Two equations are :

  1. 16+12xy = 56x
  2. 9-12xy = 69x

To find,

The values of x and y.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

In the given two equations, there is a common term which is 12xy. We can equate the two equations by this common term.

Now,

16+12xy = 56x

12xy = 56x-16 ......(1)

And,

9-12xy = 69x

-12xy = 69x-9

12xy = 9-69x .......(2)

Equating (1) and (2) :

56x-16 = 9-69x

56x+69x = 9+16

125x = 25

x = ⅕

Now, putting the value of x in (1)

(12×⅕)×y = (56×⅕) -16

12y/5 = 56/5 - 16

12y/5 - 56/5 = -16

(12y-56)/5 = -16

12y-56 = -80

12y = -80+56

12y = -24

y = -2

Hence, value of x is and value of y is -2
