Here all the balls contains odd no. and we have to select 3 no. from them so that the sum of them would be 30.

But we know the sum of any 3 odd no's is never an even no.


So, we will do like this.

I) On first step, I will take the balled marked 9, and will put on the first box inverting. If we invert 9 we will get 6 and it's an even no. Now we can take any to odd no. to get their sum as even

II) So, on next step we have to add two no.'s whose sum is 24.

III) Therefore, we got the required two no.'s as 11 and 13 whose sum is 24.


So, our required numbers are :

9(placing in inverted position),11 and 13. i.e
6 + 11 + 13 = 30
