1) Let A be the event that getting

prime number on each dice.

A= {(2,2),(2,3),(2,5),(3,2),(3,3),(3,5),(5,2).

n(A)= 9

P(A)= n(A)/n(S) = 9/36 = 1/4


2) Let B be the event that two

numbers obtained from two dice

are total of 9 or 11

B= {(3,6),(4,5),(5,4),(5,6),(6,3),(6,5)}

n(B) = 6

P(B) = n(B)/n(S) = 6/36 = 1/6
