GIVEN l = 55 cm and b = 42 cm
so largest circle can be cut is of diameter 42 cm
so r =42/2 = 21 cm
area of circle = 22/7 × 21 × 21
= 22×63
=1386 cm2
now area of rectangle cardboard = 55×42
=2310 cm2
so. area. of remaining part = 2310- 1386
= 924 cm2
so required ratio = 1386/924
= 3/2
=3:2
