hi \: ..

x - y = 3 \:  \:

x = 3 + y \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ..................(1)

 \frac{x}{3}  +  \frac{y}{2}  = 6

 \frac{2x + 3y}{6}  = 6

2x + 3y = 36 \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ...............(2)

From eq (1) & (2)

2(y +  3) + 3y = 36

2y + 6 + 3y = 36

2y + 3y = 36 - 6

5y = 30

y =  \frac{30}{5}

y = 6

NOW, from (1)

x = y + 3

x = 6 + 3

x = 9

THUS ,

solution :

x = 9 ; y = 6

hope \:  \: this \:  \: helps \: you \: ..
