since focal length is 8 cm then then the radius of curvature is 8 * 2 = 16 .

Since object is even behind the centre of curvature the object needs to be real , inverted and between focal length and 2F .

Therefore

1. Real and inverted

2. Lens formula is 1\v = 1\f + 1\u. ( where v = image distance , u = object distance and f = focal length )

1\v = 1\8 + 1\-24

Therefore v = image distance = (+12) cm

3. magnification = - image distance\ object distance

OR

m = -v\u

= -12\-24

= 1\2

= 0.5
