First.. Find the side AB by pythagoras theorem.. That is 8cm..

Area of ABCD= areaABC +areaBDC
Area od ABC =1/2x8x15=60cm square..

Area of BDC by herons formula
...semi perimeter, s =18 cm
Area of BDC= 54cm square

So area od ABCD= 54+60=114 cm square..
