In first it is not parallel as they do not satisfy the linear pair.

in second it is parallel as it satisfy the linear pair.

in third it is parallel as it satify the linear pair.

in fourth also it is parallel as it satisfy the linear pair.


Just add both the angles in all the cases if they make 180 degree or linear pair means that they are parallel (p and q).
