Let's take the point at the end of the train (point E) as it is the last thing to pass the bridge. Assuming that the train starts at the beginning of the bridge, the distance between the end of the bridge and point E is 150+250=400m

s=d/t (speed = distance/time) rearranges to give t=d/s. 400/25= 16s

250000/60*60

=69.4

now, 150/69.4=2.16

again, 250/69.4=3.6

hence add(2.16+3.6)

=5.76
