Perimeter of square is given 60 which is double of rectangle so perimeter of rectangle will be

= 60/2 = 30 cm

Perimeter of rectangle

 = 2(l + b) = 30 \\ since \:  \: given \:  \: b = 3 \\  \implies2(l + 3) = 30 \\  \implies\: l + 3 = 15 \\  \implies\: l = 12 \:  \:cm
