Plz tell me why did they write equal intervals of time...
plz explain properly with an Example

Answer:

otherwise if it won't be equal intervals of time then it will become non uniform

eg a car travels 2m in 1sec ,4m in 2s ,6m in 3s

if time interval will be unequal it will not be uniform

Here is the Answer...

We write equal intervals of time because for identifying whether the motion is uniform or non-uniform, we compare the distance that the body travelled in the given section of time.

We can't say unequal intervals of time because then we cannot compare the distances the body travelled.

Like say, For uniform - 1 m in 1 sec, 2m in 2sec, 3m in 3sec.

And for Non uniform - 1m in 1 sec , 4 m in 2 sec, 7 m in 3 sec.

When we take time gap equal or equal interval of time, then we know whether the motion is uniform or nonuniform.
