X-20= no. Of marbles with ram
X-44=no. Of marbles with Shyam
Now ram has 3 times more marbles as Shyam .
Therefore
X-20=3(x-44)
Simplifying the equation
X-20=3x-132
2x=112
X=56
Therefore the marbles with ram and Shyam was 56.
