A Ghastly Rainy Night
It was raining heavily, the street lights had gone off and I was returning home after watching the late night show of a movie. Suddenly, I heard a sound behind me. I looked back but no one was there. I started walking again. Again I heard a sound. This time I was sure I’d heard a cry of pain. I took my cell-phone and switched on the torch-light and started flashing it around. I noticed that the sound was coming from the left side. I was frightened but I took courage and went towards the sound, what I saw gave me goose bumps. A man was lying in a pool of blood and his leg was crushed under a huge tree. On asking, he told me that he had stopped under the tree and was waiting for the rain to stop when suddenly out of the dark two men came on a bike. They robbed him of his valuables. When he cried for help they shot him. As if it was not enough, a storm started blowing immediately. The old tree could not stand against the raging storm. It was uprooted and his leg was crushed under it as it fell. I immediately called the ambulance because I could not lift that tree up. The ambulance arrived within no time. The people came and helped the man out of that painful experience. They lifted the tree with lots of labour, put the man in the ambulance and took him to the hospital. I felt happy and contented that I had saved a life..

THE STRANGE NIGHT
It was raining heavily, the street lights had gone off and I was returning home from my music class. I used to come in bus but that day the bus has left me. So I was coming alone in night. I couldn't walk because it rained heavily with a strong wind pushing me backwards. My phone was also switched off. It was really scary to walk but I didn't show it out. Then at distance a girl appeared in the rain. I was afraid that someone will kidnap me but later when I went near I recognized that she is my friend. I was happy from my heart which cannot be said into words. I asked her how she came here, she said that she also left the bus. She asked me whether we could wait in a house which is her relatives house. I accepted because it was raining heavily and all the things appeared foggy. She took me to a house which was not a house but a haunted bungalow. By seeing the bungalow I said it seems rain has stopped let's go. She seized my hand and went into the bungalow. Inside no lights were there, it was really scary. I asked where are her relatives she said they went to village, I want to ask a question that if they went to village how the door was open but i don't have dare to ask her. We sat in the entrance and we were watching when the rain will stop. When it stopped, I turned to my friend to say let's go. But she was not there. I went in search of her. I got a sound of doors closing, with a small gap came outside and without I just ran to my home. Next day in school, I met my friend, I asked her whether your relatives came to the house and why you left me alone and went to home? She said me What are you speaking? When I came with you? also yesterday I was having fever. So only I said not to get wet in the rain.
