Solution :-
First as we know
So when I is greater then the Resistance is smaller.
For (a)
By observing the graph
Current for R₁ is greater than the current of R₂
→ I₁ > I₂
As "I" is the denominator
→ R₂ > R₁
Now for (b)
Current for R₁ is lesser than the current of R₂
→ I₁ < I₂
As "I" is the denominator
→ R₁ > R₂
Some extra information :-
Current (I)
It is the measure of Charge per unit time .
It's SI unit is Ampers
Potential Difference (V)
It is the difference between the electrical potential between two given points.
It can be also defined as the amount of work done in order to move a charge from one place to another.
SI unit is Volt
