Plzzz assume the diagram described.
Common radius (r) = 105/2 m
Height of cylinder (h) = 5 m
Slant height of cone (l) = 60 m
Total surface area of the tent
= CSA (Cylinder) + CSA (Cone)
= 2πrh + πrl
= πr (2h + l)
= 22/7 × 105/2 (2×5 + 60)
= 11×15 (10 + 60)
= 11×15 (70) sq. metres
Rate = 15 rupees per sq. metre
Hence,
Cost = Total surface area of tent ÷ Rate
= 11×15 (70) ÷15
= 11×70
Cost = 770 Rupees
Hence, Cost of tent is 770 rupees.
