Que 1.)Oxidation:- It is the reaction in which addition of Oxygen and removal of Hydrogen take place.
Ex:-CH3 + 2O2 =CO + 2H2O

Que 2.)Reduction:- it is the reaction in which removal of Oxygen and addition of Hydrogen take place.
Ex:-H2 + F2 =2HF

Que 3.) It happens only in Redox reaction . Ex:--
CO2 + H2 = CO + H2O
