Let one  5 rupee coin as x 
let  one 50(0.5 rupee) paisa coin as y
But amount of 5 rupee coin = 5 x 
Amount of 50 paisa  coin     = 0.5 x y  = 0.5y

ATQ 5 x +0.5  y  = 50 
         50x + 5 y    = 500 (MBS by 10 ) 
          10 x + y     = 100 (DBS by 5 ) ___________(1)

Put y = 10 
   10 x + 10  = 100 
   10x           = 90 
       x   = 9 
So (9,10) is one solution of this equation

Put y = 0 
10x + 0 = 100
10 x = 100
     x = 10 
so (10, 0 ) is a solution of this equation

let number of 50 paise coin be y

now amount with 5 rupee coins= 5x
amount with 50 paise= 0.5y    (taking 1 rupee= 100 paise)

now according to question
5x + 0.5y = 50
~ 5x + y/2 =50
~5x + y = 50*2
~ 5x + y = 100 --------- 1

put y=10 in 1, we get
10x+10=100
10x=90
x=9

so(9,10) is the solution

put y=20 in 1, we get
10x+20=100
10x=80
x=8

so(8,20) is the solution
