Answer:

s10 = 10/2 [2a + 9d] =150

= 5[2a + 9d] =150

= 10a + 45d = 150 -------- eqn 1

s9 = 9/2 [2a + 8d] =126

= 9a + 36d =126 -------------eqn 2

solving both eqauations

10a + 45d =150

9a + 36d = 126

9a = 126 - 36d

a = 126 - 36d / 9 substitute in 1

10a + 45d = 150

10 × 126 - 36d / 9 + 45d = 150

d = 2

substitute in any eqn

9a + 36d =126

9a + 36× 2 = 126

9a + 72 = 126

9a = 126 - 72

9a = 54

a = 54/9

a = 6

so,

t10 = a + 9d

t10 = 6 + 9×2

t10 = 6 + 18

t 10 = 24

so, the correct answer is option a " 24 "
