Total current used = [ 600*50*5+4*70*6+80*3+500*2+600*4 ] watts = 6820 watts.

The cost a€ 1 watt is $ 2.60

Hence the cost of 6820 watts is $ 6820 2.60 = $ 16532.

______

Hope you understood.

As per the best of my knowledge, the calculation is correct.

Solution

watt rate of bulb=50 watt

total watt rate of 6 bulbs=(6×50)watt=300watt

watt rate of tubelight=70watt

total watt rate of 4 tubelights=(4×70)=280 watt

watt rate of TV=80 watt

watt rate of washing machine=500watt

watt rate of freze=600watt

now.....total power consumption for,

•bulbs=(300×5)=1500 w-h

•tubelights=(280×6)=1680 w-h

•TV=(80×3)=240 w-h

•washing machine=(500×2)=1000w-h

•freeze=(600×4)=2400 w-h

now.....

total power consumption in a day

=(1500+1680+240+2400+1000)w-h

=6 820 W-h

therefore....

BOT unit=(6820/100)

=6.820 (unit in a day)

therefore total money

=(6.82×2.60)Rs

=17.732 Rs
