As B and C are connected in parallel

•Req = 1/R2 + 1/R3

= 1/2 + 1/2

= 2/2

= 1

As now A and Req are in series so,

• Rp = A + Req

= 2 + 1

= 3

Now to calculate how much current is flowing

Use formula, P = I^2 R

Since, I^2 = P/R

I^2 = 18W/3ohm

I^2 = 6 A

I = 2.44 A
