Hey there!

Sum of two opposite interior angles = Measure of exterior angle.

y + 60° = 150

y =90°.

And, x +150° = 180° [ Linear pair ]

x = 30°

y = 55° [ Vertically opposite angles are equal ].


y + x + 40 = 180° [ Sum of interior angles in a triangle is equal to 180° ]

55+ x + 40=180

x =180 - 95 = 85°.
