The term "all persons are equal before the law" means that everyone will given justice by treating them equal.Democracy ensure that from president of country to the common people every one should be treated equal in front of the law.
It is important in a democracy because:-
•it suggest that no one should be treated on unequal basis of their wealth,caste, colour,gender, religion etc.
•it also ensure that no one will be given more prefrance for the same crime.
•it provides the people equal opportunity to defend themselves
•it also reflect true nature of democracy
