1 If we pull suddenly pull the cardboard the coin will get dropped in the box because of Newton 1st law

2 The coin will not get be dropped but will stay on cardboard

Answer:

1. If the cardboard is pulled away suddenly, the coin will fall into the beaker. This happens due to inertia of rest of the coin.

2. If the cardboard is slowly pulled away, the coin will stay as it is on the cardboard and along with the cardboard it will get pulled away from the beaker. This happens because the coin gets time to overcome its inertia of rest.

3. Newton's First Law of Motion i.e. the Law of Inertia is explained by this experiment. Newton’s first law states that a body remains in the state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line unless and until an external force acts on it.
