Plzz Give IUPAC Names Of These Compounds​

How to do naming

1.

a. As you see in priority table CN is more preferable than methyl so it is main functional group

b. Do numbering from main functional group

c. You see methyl on 3rd place If numbering start from side of CN and CN on 2nd.

d.So use CN suffix Nitrile and methyl prefix and do naming as you see above answer

2.

a. For ether just do seperate number on each side of Oxygen

b. from both numbering who have less carbon that take name with oxy word. Ex-ethoxy

c.You see question on right side of O if you start numbering of carbon from left to right it contain methyl group at 2nd carbon.

d. for naming use largest carbon chain after O as main Carbon chain and use less carbon chain with O as ethyoxy .

e.If largest and main carbon chain is propane you see at 1st carbon ethoxy group(becz we take C2H50 as ethoxy) is attached and 2nd carbon have methyl group  is attached do naming as  you see above answer
