In the chapter, the Margie was impressed by the old kind of schools. She was thinking about the fun they had when come together to the school shooting and laughing, study together the same thing so that they could help each other. That's why the story is titled the fun they had.

this story is about Margie who got to know about the old schools by s book . she got to know that old students had human teacher to whom they could share their problems and the teacher could understand his students . students had a special and separate building called school . they also had friends with whom they went school , played , talked,and solved their problem s in their homework . when Margie got to know that how the old students enjoyed their life in their schools ..hence margie got to know the fun which the old students had.
