Potential through 245 kΩ = iR = 40 × 10^-6 A × 245 × 10^3 Ω
= 9.8 V
From Kirchhoff’s Law
V_BE = 10 V - 9.8 V = 0.2 V
= 9.8 V
From Kirchhoff’s Law
