FIND THE AREAS OF ALL THREE TRIANGLES BY THE FORMULA 1/2×B×H
BY TAKING OUT ANOTHER SIDES FROM SUBTRACTING FROM LONGER SIDE.

AB=CD
AD=25
remaining side=25-7=18cm
AB=40
remaining side=40-30=10 cm
Find area of all three unshaded triangles and add them all and subtract it from area of rectangle ABCD you will find the area of shaded region.
NOTE: In formula 1/2×BASE×HEIGHT put the values properly.
