Sangat Sabha or believers association was founded by Keshab Chandr Sen in 1860 to promote mutual spiritual intercourse among its members.
It worked for the reformation of Society by encouraging caste marriage and widow-remarriage. It worked for the equality of woman and believed in united belief and action.
