Let the fraction be  \frac{x}{2x+1}
A/Q  \frac{x+5}{2x+1+5}  \frac{3}{5}
 \frac{x+5}{2x+6}  \frac{3}{5}
5(x+5) = 3(2x+6)
5x+25 = 6x+18
x = 7
∴ The fraction =  \frac{7}{2(7)+1}  \frac{7}{15}

numerator : let it be x
denominator is 2x+1
so fraction is. x/ 2x+1

given:
if numerator is x+5
and if denominator is 2x+1+5
is 2x+6
fraction is x+5/2x+6
which is equal to 3/5

I.e.
5*(x+5)=3*(2x+6)
5x+25=6x+18
7=x
so 2x+ 1=15
so original fraction = 7/15
