Step-by-step explanation:

1.

The HCF of two consecutive natural number is 1.

ex ->. 1,2,3........9,10,11...............

here HCF of 2 and 1 is 1 also HCF and 3 and 2 is also 1.

and so on...

so we can conclude that they have 1 (unity HCF)

also two consecutive natural numbers are n,n+1 so clearly they have 1 HCF

2.

the HCF of two consecutive even numbers is 2

ex-> 2,4,6,8.....

here 4 and 2 have 2 HCF also 6 and 4 have 2 HCF so we can conclude that they have 2 HCF

also,

two consecutive even numbers are 2n,2n+2 or 2(n+1)

so clealy they have 2 HCF

3.

two consecutive odd numbers are of form 2K+1 and 2K+3= 2(2K+1)+1

so they have 1 HCF

4.

prime numbers have HCF 1 every time

so the answer is 1
