Actually, ng = 3/2 and nw = 4/3. Absolute Refractive Index of a medium = Speed of light in vacuum/Speed of light in the medium Speed of light in glass = 2 x 108 m/s Speed of Light in Vacuum = (3/2) x 2 x 108 m/s = 3 x 108 m/s Speed of light in water = (3 x 108 m/s)/(4/3) = 2.25 x 108 m/s

dolly1723: umm.. but I am unable.. plzz plzz solve this question on a paper
dolly1723: BUT! one thing..the question is saying that refractive index of glass and water are 4/3 and 3/2.. which means refractive index of glass is 4/3 and refractive index of water is 3/2.. but u wrote opposite.. which means ur ans. is wrong.
dolly1723: plzz.. correct the ans.
kumarsuresh237p9qz6n: refractive index of water is 4/3 and refractive index of glass is 3/2
kumarsuresh237p9qz6n: verify in google u have written opposite in the question
dolly1723: how?
dolly1723: ??
dolly1723: ohk
kumarsuresh237p9qz6n: vaccum of light in vaccum is always 3×10^8 m/s
Anonymous: sorry i will take care of the mistake in future
