so according to the question

Principle = 600

S.I. = 300

Rate = 10%

Time = ?

so let the time as 'x'

so Simple Intrest is

S.I. = \frac{P \times R \times T}{100}

300 = \frac{600 \times 10 \times x}{100}

30000 = 6000x

x = \frac{30000}{6000}

x = 5

so, the principle of ₹600 takes five years to give the simple intrest of ₹300 at the rate of 10% per annum.
