x^2+2x-3=0
x^2+3x-x-3=0
x(x+3)-1(x+3)=0
(x-1)(x+3)=0
x=1,-3
x^2+3x-x-3=0
x(x+3)-1(x+3)=0
(x-1)(x+3)=0
x=1,-3
