In the figure 6.138 :-

\rm\huge\green{\underline{\underline{Given :- }}}

  • \bf{l {\parallel} m {\parallel} n }
  • \bf{\angle}x \:: {\angle} y = 3:2

\bf\huge\pink{\underline{\underline{To find :-}}}

  • \bf{\angle} z = ??

\bf\huge\blue{\underline{\underline{ Solution :- }}}

Here, we know that adjacent angles are 180°

\bf{So, \:let's\: say\: that\:{\angle} x\: and \:{\angle}y = 3a \:and \:2a }

According to the question,

\bf{\therefore}{ 3a + 2a = 180°}

=> 5a = 180° ( dividing both side by 5)

\bf\orange{\underline{\bold{<strong> </strong><strong> </strong><strong> </strong><strong>=</strong><strong>&gt;</strong><strong> </strong><strong>a</strong><strong> </strong><strong>=</strong><strong> </strong><strong>3</strong><strong>6</strong><strong>°</strong><strong> </strong>}}}

\bf\purple{\underline{\angle{x =  3a = 3(36)° = 108°}}}

\bf\green{\therefore{\underline{\underline{\angle{z \: will \: also \: be \: 108° (opposite \:angles\: are \:equal) }}}}}
