Hey there !!!!!!

Supplementary angles are angles whose sum is 180°.

A+B=180

Suppose if A is decreased by "X" then for A and B to be a supplementary pair B must be increased by "X".

A + B=180°

After decreasing A by X "A" becomes A-x

And after increasing B by "X" "B" becomes B-X

A-X+B-X =180°.

Hope this helped you ................

Hi there! Good question!

Two angles A and B are supplementary i.e. equal to 180°.
If ∠A us decreased, ∴ ∠B will increase to remain 180°.

Proof- Let ∠A be 80° and ∠B be 100°.
Let 10° to be subtracted from ∠A.
Now,
∠A + ∠B = 180°
80° + 100° = 180°
80°-10° = 70°
So, 70° + 100° + 10° = 180
Hence, proved.
