Given :

Initial speed= u=20m/s
final speed=v=30m/s
a=acceleration=a m/s²
distance be = s m
From third equation of motion :
V²-u²=2as
Case i)
30²-20²=2as
900-400=2as
2as=500
case 2)  Mid point:
v²-u²=2as/2
v²-400=500/2
v²=400+250
v=√650
v=25.49 m/s≈25.5 m/s
∴ The velocity of the car midway between a and b is 25.5 m/s
