the frog was jealous of the nightingale who had seemed to become a rival of his crass cacophony. the frog took advantage of the nightingale being unsure of her melodious voice and offered to critique her. soon this criticism led to the nightingales downfall, her soothing voice had turned harsh and uninspired, towards the end the nightingale burst her vein and died. the frog became the unrivalled king of the bingle bog again
