Solution→

We know that :

→cos (-x) = cosx

→sin(π/2+x ) = cos x because angle (π/2+ x) lies in 2nd quadrant where sin functions positive .

→cos(π/2-x) = sin x because angle (π/2-x ) lies in 1st quadrant where cos functions positive.

→sin(2π +x ) = sin x because angle (2π+X) lies in 1st quadrant where sin functions positive.

Now putting these values in the question.

cosx (cosx) / sinx (sinx)

cos ²x / sin²x

And we know that cos x /sin x = cot x , So ,

cot²x = RHS

hence proved
