Given the Initial Volume (V₁) : 80cm³

Given the Intial Volume is Increased by 20%

⇒ Final Volume of the Gas (V₂) : 80 + 80 × (20/100)  = 80 + 16 = 96cm³

Given this Process is carried without increasing the Pressure.

⇒ Intial Pressure (P₁) = Final Pressure (P₂)

Given the Intital Temperature (T₁) = 25°C = 25 + 273 = 298K

According to Ideal Gas Equation : (P₁V₁)/T₁ = (P₂V₂)/T₂

We noticed that P₁ = P₂

⇒ V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂

V₁ = 80cm³ = 80 × 10⁻⁶ m³ and V₂ = 96cm³ = 96 × 10⁻⁶ m³

⇒ (80 × 10⁻⁶)/298 = (96 × 10⁻⁶)/T₂

⇒ T₂ = (298 × 96)/80 = 357.6K

⇒ T₂ = 357.6 - 273 = 84.6°C

So the Temperature to which the Gas is heated is 84.6°C
