Good Morning Everybody !
You must have seen many people around you who can not read or write. They live a life of dependency. You'll be surprised to know that accounts for 50% of the world's illiterates. It affects our society. It also lands to poor and sub-standard living conditions. The only thing they need is the enlightenment which is possible by providing them education. Yes, the topic of my speech is " The importance of Adult education and ways to implement it."
No doubt, illiteracy is a slot on the fair name of Indian society. It is an off-spring of poverty. I think we, who are privileged lot i.e. educated ones can make a difference by teaching an illiterate so that he can hold his head high with pride. We can help him to change his life. yes, dear friends, a few words of motivation can inspire an illiterate adult to change him into an enlightened one. So adopt one illiterate person and help him to change his life. Follow the slogan of Indian literary Mission " Each one, Teach One" and make the whole country literate. Hold the torch of literary!
