there fore,
d+d+d=42 cm
then d=42/3=14cm
from this radius of each semicircle is 7cm
there fore area of semi circle is 49π( πr^2)
the area of shaded region =1/2(area of given circle -area of semi circle)+area of semi circle
ie.,
1/2(π49^2-π7^2)+π7^2
=1225π
