'displacement is the shortest distance between the final and initial positions'

which comes out to be zero in this case

Average speed=total distance covered/total time taken

total distance covered=lenght of arc QP + lenght of OQ+ lenght of OP

enght of OQ=lenght of OP=radius of circle= 1 km

Lenght of arc QP=2πr/4

(where r=radius of path)

=2π*1/4

=π/2 km

Total distance covered=π/2+1+1

=(π+4)/2

Total time taken=10 min

=1/6 hour

Plugging the above values in the equation of average speed we get

Average \: speed={\frac{3.14 +4}{2}}*6\\=7.14*3\\=21.42km/hr

Therefore the displacement and the average speed are 0 and 21.4 respectively.
