Electromagnets are magnets formed by passing of current through a conductor.

We can increase the strength of an electromagnet by increasing the current or no. of turns of the coil.

Fleming's left hand rule states that "Stretch by he thumb , forefinger and central finger of your left hand such that they are mutually perpendicular to each other. If the forefinger points at the direction of magnetic field , the thumb will point in the direction of motion or force on the conductor and the central finger in the direction of current.
