Let the pocket money of Ishan and Raghav be

5x and 7x initially.

Pocket money of both has increased by rs 225

so, new pocket money of Ishan is 5x + 225

and that of Raghav is 7x + 225

As, new ratio is 3 : 4

so, (5x+225)/(7x+225) = 3/4

or, 4(5x+225) = 3(7x+225)

or, 20x + 4×225 = 21x + 3×225

or, x = 225(4 - 3 ) = 225×1

so, x = 225

Hence their pocket money is

Ishan : 225×5 = 1125

Raghav : 225×7 = 1575
