Dragging shattered shells and stones

back into the siren’s surging belly

While the howling midnight womb 

spits forth jagged flashing swords,

as heralds,

like quivering silver whips,

blistering the angry slate clouds

as the deafening roar crashes down,

trembling the vibrant emerald green land

into ravaged humble submission.
